The Lorax

So you are loving movies lately, we watch Matilda, Little Rascals and most recently The Lorax(over and over and over again). The beginning of the show starts out with them singing a song about Thneedville, which goes "In Thneedville, it's a beautiful day!" Then there is your version, "In Springville it's a brand new doll!" And you belt it out! I tried to correct you but you insist this is what they say!

Well we made it through the holidays without any bugs, but the day after New Years you got hit hard. I am always reluctant to go to the doctor, especially with you. The last time we went (about a year ago) you kicked, screamed, hit and spit in attempt not to be seen by the doctor. And it worked. No shots were given, and we had to reschedule. This same plot was used when visiting the dentist. I just hope you will outgrow this sooner rather than later. Well today we made progress! You were running a high temperature for about 24 hours, at one point it was as high as 104.5. I was getting nervous so I called dad home to watch the other kids. This way I could take you in and battle with just you. Well the new strategy today was just keep your eyes closed tight and no one will know you are there. So the doctor was able to get a good look and listen without a single battle wound! Yay!! Here's to a new start!
