Copper Mines!

Even you loved seeing the big trucks at work!

Belgium Waffles..Nanny Style!

A few of your favorite things...ice cream, waffles, chocolate and your sippy cup full of hot cocoa. Pretty much sums it all up I think! Nanny made you guys her famous belgium waffles for breakfast and needless to say they were a hit! What kid wouldn't want ice cream for breakfast?!

Dino-Zoo Mania!

On our annual Hogle Zoo trip we were able to see the dinosaur exhibits that they had set up this summer. You were pretty terrified of them, but the giraffes were a big hit! I think these have been your favorite animal for the past 2 years, we will see if this trend continues.

R-O-D-E-O!

The Days of '47 Rodeo was a hit with our family! You and Mason would cheer "Go Go GO", though I am not sure if it was for the Cowboys or the cows.

Parade #3 (for those who are counting)

Somebody caught a...roll?? Heck yeah! Welcome to Bountiful my friends!

Nothing like some front row seats for some good ole' marching bands and candy (or rolls, either way!)

Antelope Island

"Say cheese Lex!" Nothing like a little brotherly love!

We spent a day out at Antelope island with our cousins. You had fun running around looking at the farm house, animals and lake. However, we found the name to be a little misleading in that the only antelope we saw was a statue of one.

SLC Children's Parade

Oh so cute!

All Caged Up

Not the first time I have found you and your brother like this, and I am sure it will not be the last.

Life Is A Highway

Your first drive-in movie was a big hit! Nothing like being inundated with treats, watching a good movie (Cars 2) and being able to move all around when you start to get the wiggles. All in all a success!

Fourth Fun Continued

After the parade we went back to grandpa and maga's house for a BBQ and fireworks that night. You enjoyed watching fireworks from a distance, and we even got you to hold a sparkler. However, the loud fireworks made you go running, which turned out to be a good defense mechanism. This was the first year they allowed some of the big fireworks to be put off in neighborhoods. Grandpa and bought one and for our grand finale instead of shooting into the sky, it tipped over and went shooting into us, the audience. Talk about going out with a BANG!

Fourth.of. July.

I love this picture because it captures you doing something you do well ALL THE TIME. Tongue out focusing on your candy stash!

Just like your brother you love the parades! The only difference is that nothing holds you back from grabbing all the candy you can, while your brother is a little more cautious. You love seeing the "princesses", and dancing to the music. This year we watched our first parade in Centerville.

FIREWORKS!

Our first night of fireworks for the year! We kept you guys up late and it was well worth it (well at least that night it was, the next day maybe not so much!). We went over to the park across the street and watched with grandpa, maga's and Brie. We got you a little glow in the dark wand-that alone was entertainment. Being able to run around on the grass in the dark was pretty much as cool as sliced bread to you!

4th of July Children's Parade

We decided to join in on the children's parade in Centerville during the week of the Fourth of July. We were all hot and ready to be done before the parade even started, but you were the lucky duck who got to enjoy their ride in the wagon with Braxton.

Cute Brie bought you guys some treats to throw out as we drove down the road, but I think that your mouths caught more than anyone outside the wagon!

Little Mermaid

Enjoying Tuachan's Little Mermaid. Grammy took all of us and your cousins to the Little Mermaid for her birthday. Surprisingly you loved it and sat through most of it-up until you fell asleep during the last 15 minutes.

TWO [tu:] n;

TWO stinkin years old! My oh my how this past year flew by. You are officially in your terrible twos now but really, this seems to be getting easier with you. Since we were celebrating the number TWO we might as well have TWO parties for you right? And what better way to celebrate a June birthday than with a swimming party. You were all over that and expecially loved the candles and cake!
